I'm thin and may have about 22% bf. (I'm a female, by the way.) I am also 17 going on 18 and don't know where to start as far as bulking up. I want to bulk up, but don't know what to do nutrition-wise. Is there an easy way I can get more calories without having to count them, per se?
I never really “bulk up” so I may not be able to give you a good advice. Posting this to see if other fitblrs can help.
From my knowledge, maybe start by taking 1.5 - 2 times of your body weight for your protein intake. This means that you’ll have to somewhat count calories (at least protein) at first. Get an app like my fitness pal to make it easier. Don’t forget to take multi and Lift heavy.
Being the ONLY sober one sucks.
It’s different when hanging out with other sober people while sober (duh) vs. hanging out with tipsy and drunk people when you’re the only sober one.
Like tonight in bourbon st. I could handle it for a while, but then I’d get rather annoyed at their tipsy/drunkness action. If I said I didn’t wanna ride the fucking mechanical bull because I didn’t wanna be the center of attention (and on top of that - sober), I fuckin mean it. Stop forcing me 1377826199 times. No, I’m not having fun. I’m bitter and jelly because I can’t enjoy alcohol like everybody here.

But yeah I decided to go home early. I was planning to go home right after the ghost tour but I pussied out, didn’t wanna come home alone. Therefore I went with then to bourbon st. But I got to go home earlier anyway because I gotta work tomorrow.

It needs to come from within her otherwise she would just get hurt. You can try the “hey let’s run/lift/exercise together” or cook her something healthy at home instead of going out to eat. If you don’t know how to cook, then learn. If you love her and care for her health, you would.
